INTRODUCTION OF IBAN The Iban have spread to Brunei and Sabah in the north of Borneo and Johor and Selangor in Peninsular Malaysia. Most of the Iban people live in longhouses, which are usually located at the river and along the side of the road, are to facilitate work activities, connect and communicate with each other. Practical practices adopted are based on customary law, abstinence, tolerance (tolerance), and on the basis of a close relationship of one another. Most Iban people today accept Christianity as a living, but at the same time maintain the value of customs and cultural characteristics that symbolize the traditions of the Iban community.
