CULTURE BIDAYUH (bella)
INTRODUCTION OF BIDAYUN
The Bidayuh are people who accompany the southwest region of Sarawak, especially Bahagian Serian, Kuching and in the west of Kalimantan. In ancient times, the tribe of the Bidayuh people lived in longhouses. Usually the placement of long-term tribal houses is located far in the deep and high land areas. This is for the purpose of salvation that is difficult for the enemy to express. The Bidayuh longhouse structure is not far from the structure of the long house of the Iban people in Sarawak.The long house of the Bidayuh community is divided into 3 parts, namely the main room, the old and the long.
LANGUAGE
The language of the bidayun is different and unique because it is not similar to other people in Sarawak. This uniqueness is based on the designation, style, motion and the strains that are spoken. Typically, Bidayuh language will change intonation and language following certain villages and regions.It is difficult to communicate with each other if they are a tribe or from a different area. There is also a new bidayuh identified as Bidayuh Kuching Tengah or "Bidayuh Moden (Baru), because the language and customs are mixed with bidayuh smell of jagoi and bidayuh padawan This Bidayuh people can be found in the village area adjacent to the kuching city, namely: 1. Kampung Tematu Simorang 2. Kampung Semeba 3. Kampung Sudat 4. Kampung Bumbok.
CLOTHES
FOR WOMEN
For the Bidayuh women, complete clothes included short-sleeved or half-sleeved clothes and a pair of black knee-length sarong fabrics decorated with fine beads of various colors embroidered with the main color combinations of white, yellow and red. A small half-high veil with beautiful woven patterns or head covering rather than colorful fabric with fine bead embroidery is a complement to the Bidayuh community's headdress

FOR MEN
The men of Bidayuh community also commonly wear a pair of labor in the form of a black shirt with short sleeves or short sleeves with a slight pattern of flora and black or loincloths that are colored like blue, red and white.he headband is also a complement to the headdress of the men of this society.

MUSIC
Bidayuh people believe that music plays an important role in every religious ceremony they carry out. muzik plays a role such as raising the spirits of casting out evil spirits and as a reassurance to the spirit of the spirit.music also plays a role in notifying the motive of a ceremony being carried out. The traditional prayer of the Bidayuh community consists of a pair of large, large gongs rather than two namely Oguong and Kitaak, canang, Gendang or Pedabat and Tawak (a type of small gong).

WEAPON
Lembing, tombak, parang ilang (short machetes), chopsticks, "jepur" (as if samurai) and "rira" (small cannons) were weapons equipment commonly used by these people to fight in ancient times. When weapons such as machetes, hoes and sickles are always used for agricultural activities.
