CULTURE IBAN (BELLA)
INTRODUCTION OF IBAN
The Iban have spread to Brunei and Sabah in the north of Borneo and Johor and Selangor in Peninsular Malaysia. Most of the Iban people live in longhouses, which are usually located at the river and along the side of the road, are to facilitate work activities, connect and communicate with each other. Practical practices adopted are based on customary law, abstinence, tolerance (tolerance), and on the basis of a close relationship of one another. Most Iban people today accept Christianity as a living, but at the same time maintain the value of customs and cultural characteristics that symbolize the traditions of the Iban community.
CLOTHING FOR MEN AND WOMEN
The cloth traditional of Iban men's is divided into two namely Kain Sirat and Dandong. Sirat known cloth also as a cloth is the basic clothing of the Iban. Sirat is worn by wrapped around the waist and twisted. The ends of the cloth are pulled from the back and back of the body, displaying the decorated part.Clothing is longer than bedong . The length of the cloth is not fixed because the cloth is used as a wrapper of the performance items in certain ceremonies.

The cloth traditional of Iban women's clothing is divided into three types: Field, Kalambi and Bedong. The field is a narrow sarong cloth and the length is only half the knee. There are two types of Iban bikers called kalambi, which are the sleeves of kalambi and sleeves. Iban women also wear long, narrow shawls. This sling cloth is known as bedong, which is decorated with a very fine woven pattern design.

CELEBRATION
Other celebrations
are known as the day-to-day celebrations. This festival is celebrated as a sign
of the end of the rice harvest season. This festival is thought to have begun
when the Iban community gathered in the longhouse of a longhouse in which the
ranyai was a tree. The festival's festivities would be food and wine to the
gods of wealth as being grateful and thankful for being given good harvest
results. This festival will end when ranyai is
discarded.
FOOD
The traditional food of the other is Hivana or another nickname Hivana Ginapan.hivana food is usually served on daydream.It is a dish rather than the contents of fresh fish mixed with grated seeds, red chili, halia, red onion, cotton lime and salt.A variety of fish that can be used to make this hivana dish. This meal is a special dish during Tadau_Kaamatan. It can also be made special dishes at certain occasions such as wedding and so on.

GAMES
-TAWAK
The game of the other
person's musical instrument for the dancing dance is made of tawak.Bawak is
made of round bronze and its thick and dashed walls amid the surface of
tawak.It also pairs that is mother and child.

-SAPE
Sapphire-shaped
four-stringed and long body shaped rectangular and made of jokuvang wood. The
body of the carved motifs is composed of orang-orang serawak and colored red or
black.

RELIGION
Most
Iban religion are Christian, traditional religion, atheism, Islam and
other religions. The biggest religion is Christianity which is 76.3%. In
addition, traditional religion is 13.63% and atheism religion 5.91%.
The smallest religion is Islam as much as 1.54% and other religions are 1.35%.
